How to Advertise

We are dedicated to providing recruiters with a simple and intuitive interface for placing advertisements with us.  Just follow these simple steps and your advertisement could be published in as little as 5 minutes.

  1. Follow this link to create your Recruiter Account Create a Recruiter Account. Alternatively, existing Recruiter Account holders can Sign-in to your Recruiter Account.
  2. Visit our Products page and add your Advertisement type to the Cart.
  3. Fill in the additional information requested (you can copy and paste details from your own file).
  4. Preview your Advertisement (or specification form for enhanced products) then select Add to Cart when satisfied.
  5. Check Out.  For Standard Advertisements, your advert will be published automatically.

What happens next?

  • For Standard Advertisements: your published advertisement will be unpublished after 2 months, or sooner if specified.  During this period you can make unlimited amendments through your account menu.
  • For Enhanced and Custom Advertising: your Specification Form will be reviewed and advertising created to your specification.  Our current turnaround time for Featured, Premier and Banner Enhanced Advertisements is 2-3 days, and for Institution Profiles and Campaign Websites, 7-14 days.

Payment Options

We offer a number of payment options, including Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, and cheque.  Cheques are payable to "Academic Recruitment Services Ltd".  Our system will send an electronic receipt to the registered e-mail address of the account holder after a purchase.  If you have any queries please Contact Us.

Policies

 Our Policies and Terms and Conditions are outlined during the registration process, and include: -

  • One Standard Advertisement should list one individual vacancy.  This allows your advertisement to be indexed correctly on the site with a unique title and accurate categorization.  We allow exceptions in cases where a single description applies to multiple vacancies, such as with Departmental Studentships.
  • You must ensure that your advertisement is consistent with Equality Law.  Your advertisement must not contain any direct or indirect discrimination on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
