The Research Department of General Surgery, Division of Surgery and Interventional Science at UCL carries out both clinical and laboratory research in Urological cancers.

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant (part-time) to join a small team looking at Uro-oncological research. The postholder will have a range of responsibilities related to the running of the clinical study that will include the collection of data, recruiting and following-up patients, data entry and the processing urine and blood samples in the laboratory.

The successful candidate should hold a degree or equivalent in a science, nursing or related subject and have good communication skills.

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6B £24,877 per annum, pro rata at 63% FTE (Full time Equivalent), (plus London Allowance of £2,781 per annum, pro rata). The post is funded for 6 months in the first instance.
